The excitement of the energy bus continues as we travel into the fall season. Many educational & fun events are planned.  On September 17th our bus will be heading down to Estero. Together with the Bonita chapter we are hosting a fun evening at The International Design Center. "Bon Appetite" will feature networking, a tour of the designer showrooms, live entertainment, an auction and Food & Wine tasting.   It is sure to be an exciting event.

Next stop will be our chapter elections on September 19th at The Plantation. Here we will elect the 2009 line officers joining PE Joanne next year & the Nominating Committee. The Legislative Update program following the chapter elections is sure to be informative.

The bus is pulling out of Fort Myers on September 24th and heading up to Orlando for the WCR/FAR Convention at the Buena Vista Palace .  Many educational programs and networking opportunities are available at this convention. Many chapter members will join our leadership team at the annual Awards Banquet on Friday evening and then Saturday morning we will attend the Governing Board & General membership meeting and Elect the State officers for 2009. This convention is open to all members.

The Energy Bus is traveling at full speed as we head into the final quarter of 2008.  I hope to see each of you at these fun and exciting events.                                              

Most of all remember   "Approach each day with a positive attitude, when you do this you can change the course of what happens..….  Fill your life with joy & happiness and do it continuously ….. Go out and make a difference……" Together we will make 2008 a great year.
